LuckyStar is a one of a kind Chinese restaurant. Formed shortly after we closed Golden Star Restaurant in Hillcrest. We needed a larger location with better parking to host private events and we found just the right spot. Over the years, we have made LuckyStar the number one destination in San Diego for ballroom dancing, Dim Sum, & great food at reasonable prices. LuckyStar is the perfect location to host wedding receptions, birthday parties, fundraising, quincineras, etc. Have you ever heard of ballroom dancing in a Chinese restaurant?
